About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and physically fit Retail Stock Clerk to join their team in Kimberley. This role is responsible for managing the receiving, stocking, and organization of merchandise to ensure products are available on the sales floor and in storage. You will be essential in maintaining efficient inventory flow and supporting the store’s operational needs. This position is suitable for individuals who are organized, diligent, and can perform manual tasks efficiently in a retail environment within Kimberley.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and report discrepancies.
- Unpack, sort, and organize merchandise for stocking on the sales floor or in the stockroom.
- Stock shelves, displays, and fixtures with merchandise accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized stockroom, ensuring safety and accessibility.




- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking as required.
- Respond to stock-related requests from sales associates and management.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a stockroom or warehousing environment is an advantage.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
- Robust organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of inventory procedures.
