This part-time, temporary position involves educating a diverse group of participants under the supervision of the Recreation Programmer/Coordinator. You will plan and implement high-quality lessons while mentoring volunteers. Availability during evenings and weekends is necessary to accommodate class schedules and participant needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Organize and deliver quality Latin dance classes
• Ensure the utmost safety during all participant activities
• Guide and train volunteers assisting in the program
• Engage with participants to enhance their experience
• Complete all necessary administrative tasks accurately
Requirements:
• Minimum one year of teaching or dance assistant experience
• Proficiency in Latin dance and other styles is a plus
• Current First Aid/CPR certification desired
• At least 16 years of age
• Strong customer service and communication skills
