Become an Elderly Engagement Activity Aide, dedicated to improving the well-being of seniors through diverse activities. This position assists in personal care, meal preparation, and recreational events.
The Activity Aide plays a crucial role under the supervision of the Activity Aide Supervisor, offering essential support for residents to engage in recreational programs and personal care. You'll work collaboratively with the inter-qualified team to enhance the quality of life for residents, helping create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include escorting residents to various activities and preparing them for meals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Actively engage residents in one-to-one recreational activities




• Escort residents for recreational programs inside and outside
• Prepare meals for residents and assist as needed
• Provide personal care support upon request
• Participate in educational activities and additional tasks
Requirements:
• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent
• Experience in senior and dementia care
• Desire to work with the elderly population
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Required computer skills
