Our client, in the logistics field, is seeking an

Class 1 Driver

to join their team.

Job Title: Class 1 Driver

Location: Calgary, AB

Shift: 7:30am to 4:00pm

Pay Rate: $27/hour

Responsibilities:

Safely operate refrigerated trucks to transport goods and materials between designated locations. Load and unload cargo, often requiring heavy lifting, with proper safety precautions. Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in accordance with schedule. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs. Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation. Assist with loading, securing, and unloading cargo as needed.

What’s Needed?

Valid Class 1 Driver's License for at least 3 years required Over the age of 25 years (to meet company insurance requirements) Ability to provide a transparent driver's abstract and proof of clear criminal history Experience as a Class 1 driver/ parcel delivery Ability to problem-solve and collaborate with Dispatch and customers Strong oral and written communication skills in English Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work safely in varying weather conditions
