Provide a welcoming and friendly environment for our guests, and answer any guest enquiries in a prompt manner. This position will be primarily in the mornings, with occasional support for banquets,



functions and events.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Greet guests upon arrival in a timely mannerEnsure that all set-ups are correct and completeEnsure buffet is stocked and clean at all times where applicableExplain the menu specials and offer suggestions that complement the guest’s choiceMaintain a professional and pleasant appearance at all timesDeliver beverages and food in a timely mannerPromptly clear and clean tables in a timely mannerCheck-in with guests to ensure satisfactionRefill beverages throughout the mealEnsure proper disposal of garbage and recyclingAssist with training new team members in order to maintain the desired level of service that is in line with the hotel’s service standardsEnsure cash handling procedures are followed at all timesEnsure that the restaurant is maintained, clean, safe and secureEnsure the Guest Service Standards, Hotel Policies and Procedures are maintained at all timesComplete daily and weekly checklistsDeliver guest’s bill and take paymentFollow Health and Safety rules and guidelines at all timesOther related duties as assigned by the Outlet ManagerREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Previous food and beverage industry experience preferredProServe Certificate requiredEnergetic, hands-on, with initiative and integrityExcellent customer service skillsHighly organized and detail-orientedWork well under pressure, without supervision, independently and as a member of a teamAble to perform well in a fast-paced work environmentGood communication skillsBasic knowledge of alcoholic beverages and mixologyAbility to lift heavy trays filled with glassware/food up to 30lbsBasic math skills
