The Salvation Army is looking for a dedicated Thrift Store Clerk for a three-month part-time position. You will accurately process customer transactions, assist with stock organization, and ensure a welcoming store setting. Ideal candidates will have cash handling experience and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process cash and debit sales accurately
• Interact courteously with customers and donors
• Organize and maintain attractive store displays
• Assist in unloading and sorting donations
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Requirements:
• Minimum of three months cash handling experience
• Completion of Secondary School or equivalent
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to lift/move up to 29 pounds
• Flexibility with scheduling, including mandatory Saturdays
