About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Security Systems Installer & Technician to join their team serving Kimberley and surrounding areas. This role is pivotal in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of electronic security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and functionality of security solutions for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate possesses technical expertise in security hardware and a commitment to providing reliable protection solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, terminate, and commission various security systems, including CCTV cameras, video recorders, access control panels, and alarm sensors.
- Perform routine maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of installed security systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair faults in security hardware and wiring, identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Program and configure security system software, including setting up user permissions and access levels.
- Ensure all installations comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.




- Provide basic training and support to clients on the operation of their installed security systems.

Requirements

- Proven experience in installing and maintaining electronic security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Alarms).
- Strong understanding of low-voltage wiring, networking principles relevant to security systems, and system integration.
- Proficiency with tools and equipment used for security system installation and testing.
- Knowledge of different security system manufacturers and their products.
- Ability to work independently, manage service schedules effectively, and respond to client needs promptly.
- A valid driver's license and a clean criminal record are essential.
