As a Cook, your responsibilities will include the preparation and delivery of appealing and nutritious meals tailored to various dietary needs. Working closely with the Culinary Manager, you’ll ensure that all meals are compliant with health regulations and organized to promote excellent dining experiences for retirees.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare meals for residents, staff, and guests
• Review menus and maintain food safety standards
• Conduct regular temperature audits of food storage




• Prepare specialty meals for therapeutic diets
• Assist in planning special meal themes and events
Requirements:
• Must have a valid Food Handler's Certificate
• Experience in healthcare food preparation is preferred
• Knowledge of dietary regulations and guidelines required
• Capable of lifting and transferring hot food safely
• Consent to a Vulnerable Sector Check is necessary
