Job Description:

As part of an interdisciplinary team, the Community Mental Health Nurse provides a complex range of screening, triage, assessment, treatment and case management services to an adult community mental health and/or forensic population. The incumbent provides program consultation and co-ordination, evaluation of clinical interventions, clinical supervision, preceptor students in formal clinical practicum,



and provides professional and public education regarding mental health issues and resources.

Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing (BPN)

Licenses

Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)

Other Education and Training

Nursing diploma is acceptable Bachelor of Nursing is acceptable Workplace Assessment & Violence Education (WAVE) Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
