Town of Nantucket – Our Island Home – Per Diem Housekeeping/Laundry Worker

The Town’s nursing facility, Our Island Home, seeks a housekeeping and/or laundry worker.

REQUIREMENTS: High School degree or GED equivalent. Basic communication skills in English are required. Exceptional customer service skills and basic knowledge of infection control techniques required. Must be able to operate washing machines, dryers and associated equipment. Must have sufficient manual and physical dexterity to bend and reach to complete basic housekeeping and laundry tasks. The position involves standing, sitting and/or walking for the greater portion of the workday. Must be able to lift up to 30lbs. Work is performed in a nursing home facility workplace.

Per Diem. Non-Union. $25.50 per hour per ATM Warrant.
