About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Executive to drive growth in their logistics and supply chain services division, operating from Kimberley . This role requires a strategic thinker adept at identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients in manufacturing, retail, and mining sectors, and closing deals for comprehensive logistics solutions. You will be instrumental in expanding the company's market reach within the Northern Cape and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of logistics operations and a proven ability to generate revenue and secure long-term partnerships. Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue current business opportunities within the logistics and supply chain sector. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to secure new clients and contracts. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries. Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their logistical needs.



Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations for potential clients. Negotiate contract terms and close sales, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction. Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales within the logistics or supply chain industry. Proven success in identifying and securing new clients and generating revenue. Strong understanding of freight forwarding , warehousing, and supply chain management. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing office and client-site meetings in and around Kimberley . Benefits
