About the Role

We're hiring Python Developers to work hybrid in the Toronto/GTA area with one of Canada's big 5 banks, through our technology staffing partnership. You'll be building and maintaining backend systems and data-driven applications at enterprise scale in a regulated financial environment.

What You'll Do
Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications and services using Python
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and support data pipelines/services
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architects, QA, product, other engineers) to define and deliver features
Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code following best practices
Participate in code reviews and contribute to team development standards
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and integration issues
Support CI/CD practices and Agile/Scrum delivery

What You Bring
4–6 years of skilled Python development experience
Strong proficiency in Python, with experience building backend services or APIs
Experience with SQL and relational databases
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker) is a plus
Experience with Git and CI/CD workflows
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Legal eligibility to work in Canada
