Overview : We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Rating Specialist with a solid background in Transportation. This role is focused on rating customer freight bills on time with attention to detail, accuracy, and proficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in a transportation workplace, with the ability to manage time, communicate effectively with internal/external personnel, and ensure accuracy with high service levels for customers.

Key Responsibilities:
Rate freight bill Orders for: Less-than-Truckload, Full-Truckload, Warehouse, Courier, and Retail in a cross-border business.
Communicate relevant information regarding shipments, including updating internal teams and customers.
Resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
Build and maintain strong relationships with company internal and external personnel.
Provide accurate information to relevant parties.
Management of freight bills and supporting documentation for internal and external parties as required.
Ensure accurate data entry, documentation, imaging of documents, and billing of freight bills.
Monitor rating process and support continuous improvement initiatives.





Manage day-to-day Rating with core objectives for accuracy and revenue enhancement.
Continuously work to maximize company revenue.
Help to identify opportunities to support business growth.
Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum two (2) years of experience in a transportation environment, including:
LTL & FTL operations (domestic and/or cross-border)
Solid understanding of freight rate processes and applications in transportation (LTL / FTL )
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in transportation management system (TMS), Excel, and Outlook.
