Job Title: Accounting Lead

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 3 months

Location: NewBrunswick (onsite)

Lead and coordinate projects related to Fixed Asset Accounting activities, including asset capitalization, transfers, depreciation, disposals, and reconciliations.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, and dependencies across multiple teams and business units.
Act as the primary point of contact between Finance, Accounting, IT, Operations, and other stakeholders.
Facilitate meetings, track action items, and ensure project milestones are achieved on schedule.
Monitor and resolve issues related to fixed asset processes, reporting, and system enhancements.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end fixed asset accounting activities as needed.
Develop and maintain project documentation, status reports, and governance materials.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies,



internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance fixed asset accounting processes and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience in Fixed Asset Accounting and project management.
Robust understanding of asset lifecycle management, capitalization, depreciation, and financial reporting.
Proven ability to coordinate and collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar) and Microsoft Office tools.
