The Municipality of Central Elgin is hiring a Facilities Operator to enhance our community recreation facilities. This full time position combines outdoor maintenance efforts with operational responsibilities in Belmont and Port Stanley. You will play a key role in maintaining parks, arenas, and public washrooms while ensuring all facilities are protected and user-friendly.

Experience in operations, maintenance, and customer service is essential. This role offers the chance to significantly contribute to the well-being of the community through effective facility management. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain high standards for ice surfaces and recreation buildings
Oversee the setup and logistics for events




Collect user fees and ensure proper record-keeping
Perform regular maintenance on municipal properties
Ensure safety and security measures are effectively followed Requirements:
One to two years of experience in facility operations
Must have high school diploma or equivalent
G2 driver’s license required
Familiarity with ice-making and maintenance equipment is an asset
