Lead impactful fundraising efforts at York University as Director of Development for AMPD. Drive alumni engagement and support within creative sectors to boost university initiatives. In this strategic leadership role, the Director of Development is responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive plans to generate philanthropic support for the School of the Arts, Media, Performance & Design.

With a focus on raising $1M - $1.5M annually, this role requires building solid relationships with donors and alumni while aligning fundraising initiatives with university goals. You'll work closely with the Dean and other stakeholders in a team-oriented workplace. Key Responsibilities:
Create and manage fundraising strategies to meet targets
Forge and sustain relationships with key donor networks




Lead stewardship and engagement initiatives
Plan events for alumni and donor appreciation
Collaborate with university leadership on fundraising campaigns Requirements:
At least 6 years of fundraising experience in a leadership role
4 years in a managerial capacity within a unionized context
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field
Knowledge of fundraising compliance and tax regulations
