As a Cook in the ShelterCare Kitchen, you will prepare meals and snacks for individuals undergoing transition from homelessness.

This full time role includes maintaining cleanliness and assisting with food donation management. You will work closely with program participants to empower them through culinary skills and community interaction. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare nutritious meals per Canada’s Food Guide
Sort and manage food donations consistently
Ensure cleanliness in kitchen and storage areas
Operate kitchen equipment and cleaning supplies effectively
Mentor volunteers in skill-building activities Requirements:
Grade 12 high school completion required
Valid Food Handlers Certification
Experience in an industrial kitchen is beneficial
Previous volunteer experience encouraged
