Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our team. The Chef will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, , food preparation, and ensuring high-quality culinary offerings.
Duties:
Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations
Manage inventory and control food costs
Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workplace
Skills:
Proven experience in a culinary leadership role
Strong knowledge of food handling procedures
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry
Formal culinary training or degree is preferred but not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
Must have 2 years experience working in restaurant in canada
