We are currently hiring General Labourers to assist our warehouse client with unloading and moving seafood products from incoming containers.

This is a fast-paced, physically demanding position where reliability and punctuality are extremely important. Because the product is temperature-sensitive, shipments need to be unloaded and moved into the appropriate storage areas quickly and efficiently.

Responsibilities
Unloading seafood products from shipping containers
Moving and handling product safely and efficiently
Working as part of a team to keep unloading operations moving
Assisting with organizing and moving product into designated areas
Following all workplace health and safety procedures
Maintaining a clean and organized work area

Requirements
Reliable and punctual attendance is essential
Comfortable working in a rapid-paced warehouse workplace
Able to perform physical labour and lift heavier items when required
Able to work as part of a team
Good communication and a positive attitude
Previous warehouse, general labour, or seafood handling experience is an asset, but not required





Physical Requirements

This position involves frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and moving product. Some items may be heavy; however, employees will work as part of a team, with assistance available when handling heavier products.

Why Reliability Matters

Due to the nature of the product being handled, timely attendance is extremely important. The seafood cannot be left sitting on the warehouse floor for extended periods, so the unloading process needs to begin and move quickly once the container arrives.

The regular schedule is Monday to Friday. Weekend shifts may also be available for employees who are interested, but weekend availability is not required.
