FAIRY GLEN DAY CARE CENTRE is currently hiring a Child Care Dietary Peronnel (Whitby and Ajax location).

Job Details:
Full-time (37.5 hours/week) Monday - Friday
Base wage of $19.79 / hour
Additional $2.00 Wage Enhancement, as applicable
Company paid family benefits package after six months including optional company matched RSP contributions.

Responsibilities Include:
Ensure all requirements of the CCEYA, DROC, and the MOH are followed regarding meal planning as well as health and safety in the kitchen.
Maintain equipment and kitchen tools in a safe, clean, and sanitized manner.
Ensure cooking, thawing, cooling, and warming of foods meet the requirements of the Durham Region Health Department.
Ensure that risk management strategies are followed to maintain the health and safety of the children, educators, parents/guardians, and all visitors to the centre.

Requirements:
Culinary Diploma an asset
Related experience and/or education with children an asset
Standard Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)



Certificate and Standard First Aid Certificate - Level C
Current Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
2 step TB test
WHMIS, Health & Safety, AODA, and Food Handler's Safety Training.
