Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Building Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal operation, safety, and functionality of our facilities. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for coordinating scheduled contractors and performing direct maintenance and repairs across Milron's six facilities, production equipment, forklifts, and fleet vehicles. This position works closely with the current Building Maintenance Leader as part of a planned succession, building toward future leadership of the Building Maintenance function.

Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule external contractors for building and quipment maintenance and repair work across all six Milron facilities.
Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs on building structures, systems, and grounds.
Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment, including press brakes, tube laser, aluminum laser, welders, HVAC systems, and air compressors.
Maintain forklifts and fleet vehicles, coordinating servicing, inspections, and repairs as needed.
Track maintenance schedules, service records, and equipment condition across all locations.
Work collaboratively with the Building Maintenance Leader, learning facility systems,



vendor relationships, and processes as part of a succession plan.

Requirements
Hands-on mechanical, facilities, or industrial maintenance experience.
Comfortable coordinating and working alongside external contractors.
Familiarity with industrial equipment (press brakes, lasers, welders) is an asset.
Working knowledge of HVAC and compressed-air systems is an asset.
Commercial electrical knowledge and experience is an asset.
Valid driver's license; forklift certification or willingness to obtain one.
Strong organizational skills and transparent communication across departments and vendors.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
