Role Description

This is a part time, in office role for a High School Math and Science Tutor at Sylvan Learning of Georgetown, ON. As a tutor, you will be responsible for providing personalized tutoring in math and physics subjects. This includes explaining concepts, helping with problem-solving, and assisting students in understanding and applying key principles. Additionally, you will utilize effective communication and presentation skills to engage and motivate students.





Qualifications
Strong knowledge and expertise in Science and Mathematics
Excellent communication skills to effectively explain difficult concepts
Experience in online tutoring platforms is a plus
Presentation skills to engage and motivate students
Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
Patience and empathy to support students through their learning journey
Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field is preferred
Bachelor's degree in Education

Job Types: Part time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
