Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shingler to join our roofing team! In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing shingles on residential and commercial buildings. Duties
Install asphalt, wood, or composite shingles according to project specifications and safety standards
Prepare roofing surfaces by removing old materials and inspecting underlying structures for damage
Use hand tools such as hammers, nail guns, and utility knives to secure shingles properly
Read and interpret blueprints or project plans to ensure accurate installation
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment to facilitate productive workflow




Apply caulking or sealants around flashing and joints to prevent leaks
Conduct inspections during and after installation to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols

Skills
Proficiency with hand tools used in roofing and construction tasks
Previous construction or carpentry experience is highly desirable
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
Strong knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety procedures
Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
Experience with caulking, sealing, and waterproofing methods
Handyman skills that support versatile problem-solving in office
