One of our manufacturing clients close to Richmond Hill, ON is looking for a Tool Maker.

Pay - $35-$40/hr

Shift - Afternoon

Responsibilities:
Manufacture close-tolerance mould components, dies, jigs, fixtures, and assembly tooling.
Set up and operate conventional mills, lathes, surface grinders, and 3-axis CNC machining centres.
Set up and operate Wire EDM and Sink EDM machines.
Program and set up CNC machines to meet required specifications and tolerances.
Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on injection moulds, dies, and tooling.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T; requirements.
Work with Engineering to develop and improve tooling solutions.
Maintain accurate tool change and maintenance documentation.




Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a Tool & Die Maker, Mould Maker, or similar role.
Robust CNC setup and machining experience.
Experience with Wire EDM and Sink EDM programming and setup.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.;
Experience building moulds, dies, jigs, fixtures, or assembly tooling to close tolerances.
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to operate a variety of toolroom machinery.
Ability to work effectively in a team setting and manage multiple priorities.
