Your role will center on designing high-quality printed circuit boards using Altium Designer for military applications. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, you'll work on complex PCB designs while ensuring cost efficiency and performance optimization. You will maintain the component parts library and produce various documentation to support program aims. The role also includes mentoring junior designers for effective project execution. Key Responsibilities:
Create and manage schematics and part library components
Optimize component layouts for performance and cost
Generate design documentation for configuration management
Support engineering proposals and design requirements
Mentor junior PCB designers throughout project lifecycle Requirements:
Accredited engineering degree required
4+ years experience in PCB design using Altium
Robust analytical and creative problem-solving skills
Familiarity with military and IPC standards essential
