Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and comprehensive SAT/ACT tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs
Develop and implement effective lesson plans that cover key test concepts, question types, and time management techniques
Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and personalized strategies for improvement
Foster a positive, engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and confidence-building
Utilize writing skills to help students improve their essay writing and analytical reasoning abilities for the exams
Maintain detailed records of student performance, attendance, and session outcomes




Collaborate with colleagues to refine teaching methods and stay updated on the latest test formats and best practices

Qualifications
Proven experience in tutoring or teaching high school students, particularly in standardized test preparation
Strong classroom experience with the ability to manage groups effectively and adapt to diverse learning styles
Excellent writing skills to assist students with essay components of the exams and improve their overall communication skills
Passion for education and a genuine desire to help students succeed academically
Knowledge of SAT/ACT content, question formats, and scoring methodologies is highly preferred
Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and motivate students toward achievement

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Bachelor's Degree (required)

SAT tutoring: 5 years (required)
