Duties & Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy trucks and equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot diesel engine, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Complete safety inspections and help ensure trucks and equipment meet regulatory requirements.
Use diagnostic tools and testing procedures to identify problems and confirm repairs.
Maintain accurate service and repair records and order parts as needed.
Support repair priorities that keep the fleet protected, reliable, and available for service.

Requirements
Required:
- Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician License.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract.




Proven hands-on experience maintaining and repairing heavy trucks and equipment.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with diesel, mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to complete preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs safely and accurately.
Willing to work weekends as needed, typically during the peak winter season.
Preferred:
- Experience with snow removal equipment, sander systems, loaders, graders, backhoes, or similar equipment
SJ1 Compensation:
$38.00 – $48.00/hour based on experience
