We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Labourer to join our vineyard team. In this hands-on role, you will assist with a variety of essential tasks to support vineyard operations, ensuring the health and productivity of the grapevines. Duties
Assist with planting, pruning, harvesting, and general vineyard maintenance activities
Operate farm machinery and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks
Support irrigation systems installation, repair, and monitoring to ensure optimal water distribution
Use hand tools for soil preparation, trellising, and other vineyard infrastructure work
Conduct routine inspections of equipment, irrigation lines, and vineyard conditions
Perform heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or harvested grapes as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency
Requirements
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labour throughout the day
Experience or familiarity with farm machinery, hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance tasks is preferred
Knowledge of horticulture practices and irrigation systems is a plus
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely following proper procedures
Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
