About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Optical Sales Advisor to join our optometry team. The ideal candidate is confident in sales, enjoys working with people, and has a passion for helping patients find eyewear that meets their visual and lifestyle needs.

Key Responsibilities
Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that suit their style, prescription, and budget
Provide expert product knowledge on eyewear, lens options, and coatings
Recommend upgrades and promote premium products to maximize patient satisfaction
Process eyewear orders and ensure accuracy of patient information
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing optical gallery
Support front desk tasks as needed, including scheduling and patient communication
Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure every patient has a positive experience

Requirements




Previous sales experience is a must (optical retail experience preferred but not required)
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Passion for customer service and relationship-building
Comfortable learning new products and optical terminology
Team-oriented with a positive, qualified attitude

Preferred Skills (Assets)
Experience in optical, retail, or healthcare environments
Knowledge of frame styling, lens technologies, or eyewear trends
Familiarity with practice management or EMR systems
