Seeking a Service Manager for a position at a growing service facility in Vars, ON. This is a new leadership role managing all shop operations for a 1,500+ vehicle maintenance contract portfolio. The facility is 18 months old with contemporary infrastructure (7 drive-thru bays, service pit, cranes, full diagnostics software) and a team eager for positive organizational change. You'll report directly to management and oversee four direct reports: service advisor, parts manager, day foreman, and night foreman.

Requirements

Must-haves:
• 5+ years as a service manager
• Journeyman-level mechanic certification (automotive or heavy-duty)
• Robust organizational skills and high energy
• Demonstrated ability to manage KPIs and drive labor productivity/efficiency metrics
• Experience implementing process improvements and revenue-focused strategies
• Pass criminal record check and driver's abstract

Nice-to-haves:




• Knowledge of Carmac maintenance software (system transition planned within 6 months)
• Experience transitioning fleet operations to profit-driven external service models
• Familiarity with aftertreatment diagnostics and CVIP/maintenance procedures

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $110,000–$125,000/year (based on experience and qualifications)
