Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering/picking up empty/loaded lugger and rolloff bins safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a robust commitment to safety, integrity of our company and a focus on customer satisfaction.

Duties
Operate commercial trucks with manual transmission through out the Okanagan
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
Securing all loads with straps
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance
Communicate clearly, calmly and effectively with manager, dispatchers and customers regarding any potential issues.




Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle as needed.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.

Qualifications
Valid Class 3 commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
Experience in commercial driving
Basic knowledge of automotive repair is a plus.
Robust attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines safely

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
