In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods, materials, and equipment to various destinations. Responsibilities
Safely operate heavy-duty vehicles designated for D Class licensing, ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load and unload goods with proper techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary, to prevent damage and injury
Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
Plan productive routes to meet delivery schedules while maintaining flexibility for unforeseen circumstances
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance logs
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to coordinate pick-up and drop-off times
Assist with warehouse activities such as organizing cargo, securing loads,



and supporting team members as needed
Able to lift heavy items into home. Delivery of Furniture and Appliances, mixed with dock to dock
Thursday to Tuesday shifts, 730am start (Wednesday/Thursdays off)

Experience
Valid D Class driver’s license with a clean driving record
Proven experience in driving heavy vehicles or trucks in a professional setting
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
Familiarity with transportation regulations, safety procedures, and route planning tools
Solid communication skills to interact confidently with team members and clients
Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and manual tasks associated with loading cargo

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
