HeadHunting Inc. is looking for compassionate and experienced Health Care Aides / Nursing Attendants to provide direct resident care within senior living and continuing care settings.

What You’ll Do
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care.
Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and mobility needs as required by the resident’s care plan.
Support meal service, portering and recreational/leisure activities.
Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the RN/LPN.
Follow individualized resident care plans and contribute to care-plan updates.
Administer medications when applicable and authorized under organizational processes.
Support residents living with dementia and other age-related conditions.
Provide compassionate support to residents receiving palliative care.
Maintain resident dignity, privacy, independence,



choice and individuality.
Follow emergency, infection-control and workplace safety procedures.
Participate in team meetings, education and training.
Work collaboratively with nurses and other members of the care team.

Qualifications
Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent.
Grade 12 or GED.
First Aid.
Experience working with elderly and disabled individuals.
Dementia care experience.
Palliative care experience.
Solid English communication skills.
Comfortable using computers, email and internet.

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
