Technical Helpdesk Specialist:
On behalf of our Technology client, Procom is searching for a Technical Helpdesk Specialist for a permanent role. This position is 100% onsite at our client’s Markham office.

Technical Helpdesk Specialist - Job Description:
The Technical Helpdesk Specialist will provide technical assistance and answers to customer questions, assisting them by troubleshooting installation or providing product solutions for their network settings. The role involves identifying, investigating, and resolving customer issues with computer software and hardware.

Technical Helpdesk Specialist - Responsibilities:
Identifies, investigates, and resolves customer problems with computer software and hardware.
Fields support calls, chat, email, and/or other communication from customers with inquiries regarding product configuration, network connectivity, and similar concerns.
Applies knowledge of product software, hardware, and networking concepts to solve problems.
Guides customers through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes.




Collaborates with other sales/support staff to research and resolve problems.
Collaborates with programmers to explain nonconformances and/or recommend features in products.
Maintains knowledge of technology innovations and trends.

Technical Helpdesk Specialist - Mandatory Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Qualified and pleasant telephone manner.
Ability to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical customers.
Analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn an array of networking concepts.

Technical Helpdesk Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
College diploma/degree or related field preferred.
CCNA, ACDA, JNCIS or MCSA would be beneficial.

Technical Helpdesk Specialist – Assignment Length:
This is a permanent position.
