Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment while assisting with food preparation and service. This position is perfect for individuals looking to gain experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry and contribute to a dynamic team.

Duties
Assist in the preparation of food items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste.
Support chefs and cooks in various cooking tasks, ensuring timely service during peak hours.
Handle food safely and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and reporting shortages as needed.
Participate in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations for service.
Provide excellent support to front-of-house staff during meal service, including serving food when necessary.

Requirements




Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is a plus.
Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to maintain high hygiene standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while multitasking effectively.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
Knowledge of food handling practices is essential for ensuring safety in food service operations.
