Journeyperson Pipefitter – IRATA Level 3Overview

Structure Group is recruiting a Journeyperson Pipefitter with IRATA Level 3 certification.

Responsibilities
Fit, align, assemble, and bolt piping systems in accordance with project specifications and quality requirements
Support shutdown activities including tie-ins, hot and cold cuts, valve replacements, spool installation, and system reinstatement
Work collaboratively with welders, millwrights, scaffolders, and other trades to support safe and effective execution
Use proper rigging and lifting techniques when handling pipe, valves, and components
Maintain a robust focus on safety, including hazard identification,



job safety analysis, and compliance with site safety rules
Ensure work is completed to quality standards and participate in inspections as required
Communicate effectively with supervision regarding progress, constraints, and field conditions
Maintain a clean and organized work area and care for tools and equipment
Install, maintain, and repair steam tracing systems as required

Certifications & Requirements
Journeyperson or Interprovincial Pipefitter certification
Current IRATA Level 3 certification
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Journeyperson Pipefitter in oil sands or refinery environments
Confined Space certification
Fall Protection certification
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
Ability to pass site pre-access requirements, including drug and alcohol testing

Pay: From $65.00 per hour
