Responsibilities
Decorate cakes and desserts with intricate designs, piping, fondant, and other decorative techniques to meet customer specifications and quality standards
Prepare cakes by following recipes, baking, and assembling layers with precision and care
Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, icing, and packaging baked goods for sale or delivery
Provide excellent customer service by discussing decoration options, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction
Maintain a clean and organized work station,



including proper storage of ingredients and finished products
Support the team in food safety practices and adhere to all health regulations within the kitchen setting

Experience
Proven experience in cake decorating or pastry arts is highly preferred
Background in restaurant or food service environments demonstrating food preparation skills
Knowledge of baking techniques, food handling procedures, and kitchen safety standards
Familiarity with food industry best practices for cleanliness, packaging, and presentation
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
Previous experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting is advantageous

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
