Craneium Inc., a leading provider of overhead crane modernizations and service across Western Canada, is hiring a qualified Overhead Crane Technician to join our Edmonton-based team. We’re looking for a reliable, safety-conscious skilled who takes pride in their work, thrives both independently and in a team, and meets Canadian standards for crane inspections.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform annual inspections on overhead cranes, hoists, and rigging
Execute planned mechanical and electrical repairs (shop and field)
Install new equipment and support modernization projects
Provide breakdown service and commissioning support
Travel extensively throughout Western Canada to job sites

Qualifications:
Journeyman Electrician or Millwright certification (required)
Minimum 10,000 hours of overhead crane experience
Skilled in both mechanical and electrical systems
Comfortable working at heights and in industrial settings
Class 5 driver’s licence with clean driving record (required)
Fall Protection certification
Robust commitment to safety and customer service
Fluent in English
AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)
Willingness to travel for the majority of work throughout BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba

Schedule & Compensation:




Typical rotation: 3 weeks on (10-hour days), 1 week off
Monday to Sunday
Overtime pay available
