Duties
Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients under supervision
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing workstations regularly
Organize and store supplies properly to ensure easy access for the culinary team
Support the kitchen staff during busy service times by ensuring all necessary tools and ingredients are ready




Follow food handling safety protocols diligently to ensure compliance with health regulations
Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to keep the kitchen environment safe and eco-friendly

Skills
Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards in a restaurant or hotel setting
Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is highly desirable
Basic understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling guidelines
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness
