Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using accounting software such as QuickBooks desktop to ensure accurate financial data entry and maintenance
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently, verifying invoices and payments
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and company records
Conduct account analysis and prepare detailed reports to identify discrepancies or irregularities
Maintain organized records of financial transactions, supporting audits and compliance requirements
Support budgeting activities by providing relevant financial data and insights for planning purposes
Requirements
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role with a robust understanding of bookkeeping principles
Proficiency in accounting software when using QuickBooks desktop
Solid knowledge of accounting practices including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and account analysis
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Ability to analyze financial data accurately and communicate findings clearly
Strong data entry at 60 - 80 wpm is mandatory
