Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during dental procedures
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Take and develop dental x-rays
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
Provide support to the dentist in all aspects of patient care
Maintain a clean and organized dental office setting
Qualifications:
Certification or degree in Dental Assisting
Knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures
Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix and Epic
Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions is preferred
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Excellent organizational skills to manage patient records and appointments
Ability to work well in a team environment
