In this full time term position, you will lead initiatives in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) programs, ensuring compliance and fostering a positive work environment. You will collaborate with site leadership and external partners, such as WorkSafeBC, to establish safety policies and educate teams about their safety responsibilities. Your efforts will significantly enhance the well-being of staff and the quality of care provided.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of OHS policies and guidelines
• Provide technical safety advice to leadership




• Facilitate training and compliance audits
• Monitor safety initiatives for continuous improvement
• Support Joint Occupational Health and Safety committees
Requirements:
• Background in health and safety management
• In-depth knowledge of OHS regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
