IS2 Workforce Solutions is currently recruiting an Aluminum Welder / Fitter on behalf of our client, a well-established custom metal fabrication manufacturer in Woodstock, Ontario.

Our client produces steel and aluminum components for a variety of industrial and heavy-duty applications within a quality-driven manufacturing setting.

This position involves hands-on welding and fitting work in a custom fabrication setting.

The successful candidate will work with detailed drawings and specifications to fabricate, fit, and weld components while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Location: Woodstock, Ontario Pay Rate: $28-$32/hour (based on experience and qualifications) Shift: Day Shift | 6:30 AM 4:00 PM | Monday

Friday Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols Fit, layout, cut, shape, and weld steel and aluminum components Perform welding using MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), and Flux-Cored (FCAW) processes Weld components to required structural and quality standards Operate fabrication equipment such as CNC press brakes, shears, and plasma cutters when required Grind, finish,



and inspect welds to meet specifications Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Work collaboratively with production and quality teams to meet deadlines Qualifications & Requirements Must be able to pass a Controlled Goods Application Previous experience as a Welder/Fitter or in a custom fabrication environment Ability to read blueprints and work to close tolerances Experience welding steel and/or aluminum Welding certifications (CWB, AWS, IAS) are preferred Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy materials Whats Offered Full-time, long-term opportunity Pension Plan Comprehensive benefits package after a 90-day probationary period Company pension plan after one year Secure day shift schedule If you are an experienced Welder / Fitter seeking a stable day-shift role in Woodstock, Ontario, IS2 Workforce Solutions encourages you to apply.
