About the Role

Our client is seeking a competent and client-focused Insurance Claims Adjuster to manage claims efficiently and effectively in Kimberley. This role involves investigating insurance claims, determining liability and coverage, negotiating settlements, and ensuring prompt and fair resolution for policyholders. You will be the primary point of contact for claimants, requiring excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Joining a respected organization in the insurance sector, you will play a vital role in upholding the company's commitment to service excellence in the Northern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities
Investigate assigned insurance claims thoroughly, interviewing claimants, witnesses, and relevant parties.
Evaluate policy coverage and determine liability and the extent of damages or losses.
Negotiate settlements with claimants and their representatives, aiming for fair and amicable resolutions.
Prepare detailed claim reports, documenting investigation findings, settlement recommendations, and all related activities.
Manage a caseload of claims,



ensuring timely progress and adherence to service level agreements.
Maintain professional communication with all stakeholders throughout the claims process.

Requirements
Proven experience as a Claims Adjuster or in a similar claims handling role within the insurance industry.
Strong understanding of insurance policies, claims investigation techniques, and legal/regulatory requirements.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze complex situations and make sound judgments.
Valid driver's license and a willingness to conduct on-site inspections as needed.
