Responsibilities Help perform design tasks for projects such as pole line analysis (PLA) for telecommunication and electric utility poles Support the development of design and construction standards for various distribution and transmission applications Assistin the preparation of calculations, drawings, construction and work packages and other project base deliverables Assistin the preparation of technical inputs for reports, specifications, proposals, projectschedulesand cost estimates Communicate with client stakeholders for various aspects of the project, including regular communication about project progress Perform site visits tovalidatescope requirements anddetermineexisting assets condition and prepare site survey reports Help ensure design work conforms to all applicable national codes and client standards Utilize client based geographic information systems (GIS) and other records for data collection during the design process; produce bill of material and enter material acquisition requests in the GIS Coordinate with utility companies, all levels of government agencies, municipalities, and other companies and institutions Perform andassistwithadditionalduties and tasks based on project requirements and other job functions as assigned Qualifications Profile Bachelors degree in electrical engineering orcivilengineering, from a recognized institution Experience with AutoCAD (asset) Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure, independently and in a team setting Client focused, detail oriented, eager to learn and motivated with robust problem solving and multitasking ability Excellent skills with the Microsoft 365 platform (Word, Excel, Power

World, or similar (asset) The salary for this position ranges from$24.65to $31.05 per hour, depending on your academic profile, the number of credits earned, and yourpreviousco-op or internship experience.
