About the Role

Our client, a dynamic and growing commercial entity, is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Commercial Lawyer to join their legal team in Kimberley. This is an excellent entry-level position for a recently admitted attorney eager to gain broad experience in commercial law. You will support senior lawyers in drafting and reviewing contracts, conducting legal research, and assisting with various legal projects. This role offers a fantastic foundation for a career in commercial law within the Northern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements.
- Conduct legal research on various commercial law matters.
- Support senior lawyers in litigation preparation and dispute resolution.
- Assist with corporate secretarial duties and compliance tasks.
- Manage legal documentation and maintain organized case files.




- Provide administrative support to the legal department as required.

Requirements

- Admitted Attorney (completed articles) with a focus or robust interest in commercial law.
- Excellent understanding of basic contract principles.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in legal research databases and MS Office Suite.
- Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment in Kimberley.
