PURCHASER/PARTS ADVISOR -Gravenhurst, ON PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL, AND HVAC Reports to

Parts and Service Manager, General Manager RESPONSIBLITIES: Parts Oversee the parts department and ensure the purchaser/receiver have support to deal with Ordering parts Receiving parts Pricing inventory Inventory management Volume purchasing Putting stock away and ensuring the facility is clean and orderly Ensure any unknown parts are sourced and ordered in a timely manner Technical support Parts Coordination Ensure parts are ordered and received for service calls or customer orders Assist with pricing/mark up and profit margins for parts Tool Management Oversee the Tool Maintenance/Management and support with Tool Purchases Tool Maintenance Tool Maintenance Records Tool Crib Vehicle Maintenance/Management Oversee the Vehicle Maintenance/Management and support with Vehicle Purchases Vehicle Maintenance Maintenance Record Licensing Review tasks to ensure workload is evenly spread between the team Ongoing review of internal communication between the parts and other departments Explore workflows,



tasks and procedures for inefficiencies Develop and implement recent policies, procedures and tasks Review and update positions required in the department as required Coordinate positions to be hired Ensure all roles on the team are performed to standard and guidelines Reprimand as required Operate in a professional manner in any interaction Complete training as required QUALIFICATIONS Post-secondary education in purchasing, supply chain, business administration, or a related field.

Trade experience or technical training in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, or a related mechanical field.

Inventory-management certification is an asset.

Experience with ERP, inventory-management, service-management software.

Experience in a service-contractor or multi-trade environment.

Experience managing supplier relationships and volume purchasing programs. WHMIS, occupational health and safety, or other relevant safety training.
