Full-Time Posting date 16-Sep-2026 Area(s) of interest: Human resources Location(s): Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Vancouver This position could be based in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton or Toronto As a Senior Advisor, Campus Recruitment Commercial Banking at National Bank, you will play a key role in the development and execution of the sectors campus recruitment strategy.
Responsible for attracting and hiring interns and emerging talent across Canada, you will build strong relationships with universities, student associations, and students.
In this role, you will work closely with hiring managers, HR partners, and various internal stakeholders to attract, assess, and recruit top talent.
You will also contribute to enhancing the intern experience and evolving our campus recruitment practices.
This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the future talent pipeline and growth of the Commercial Banking sector.
Your role Lead the national campus recruitment strategy for the Commercial Banking sector, aligned with business priorities.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and business needs to recommend innovative talent attraction initiatives.
Monitor key performance indicators to optimize recruitment events, channels, and overall hiring efforts.
Represent National Bank at university events, career fairs, student conferences, and networking activities to strengthen our employer brand and campus presence.
Conduct candidate pre-screening based on established criteria, lead initial interviews, and recommend candidates who best align with business needs.
Coordinate and support all stages of the campus recruitment process, from attraction through hiring.
Build and maintain a pipeline of student talent to support current and future workforce needs within Commercial Banking.
Contribute to the development of strategic university partnerships to enhance National Banks visibility and long-term talent acquisition efforts.
Deliver a distinctive and engaging candidate experience from job posting through offer acceptance.
Help improve the intern experience by gathering feedback from students and managers and recommending enhancements.
Act as a coach and resource person for junior team members and the student community.
Your team This position may be based in Toronto, Vancouver, or Calgary and is part of the Commercial Banking Business Strategy team.
Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition Commercial Banking, you will contribute to the success of our national talent attraction strategy by supporting campus recruitment activities, events, and selection processes.
Requirements Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
Experience in campus recruitment, talent acquisition, or partnership development.
Experience screening, assessing, and recommending candidates in a high-volume recruitment workplace.
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
Strong strategic thinking, organization, and adaptability.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power
Point, Outlook, and Teams).
Knowledge of commercial banking or financial services is considered an asset.
