**Job Title: Cleaner**
**Job Description**
The Cleaner plays a key role in maintaining a spotless, safe, and compliant facility by ensuring labs, offices, washrooms, and cafeteria areas are consistently cleaned and well organized.

This role includes general cleaning tasks, support of GMP areas, and accurate documentation using computer systems.
**Responsibilities**
Clean and maintain labs, offices, washrooms, and cafeteria areas to a consistently high standard.

Perform dusting, sweeping, mopping, window cleaning, and general janitorial duties throughout the facility.

Collect, remove, and properly dispose of trash from all designated areas.

Clean exterior areas of the building, including work in cold weather during winter months.

Stock GMP areas with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure supplies are available and organized.

Maintain organized inventory of cleaning supplies, PPE, and related materials.
**Essential Skills**
At least 6 months of professional cleaning experience in roles such as facility cleaner, janitor, or similar.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly as part of daily tasks.

Strong English communication skills, including clear speaking, reading, and writing, to complete GMP and SOP tasks and modules.

Experience with general labor and cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and basic janitorial duties.

Ability to perform custodial, inspection, sanitization, and sanitizing tasks in a structured environment.
**Work Environment**
The work takes place in a very clean pharmaceutical facility that is well lit and temperature controlled.

The role involves an afternoon shift on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Work includes both indoor cleaning and some exterior building cleaning, which can involve cold conditions in winter.

Employees regularly use computers to complete documentation and GMP/SOP modules and must be comfortable wearing solid PPE while working in controlled areas.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MISSISSAUGA, ON.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.





Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
