**Job Title: Production Supervisor**
The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and independently managing the day-to-day operations of the production shift to ensure the safe, productive, timely, and cost-effective manufacture of high-quality products.

The Production Supervisor provides hands-on leadership to production employees, makes real-time operating decisions, allocates labour and resources, manages staffing and overtime, monitors performance, resolves operational issues, and escalates significant risks appropriately.
**Requirements**
5+ years in a GMP production environment
Experience supervising 75-100 people per shift
Lean Manufacturing knowledge
ERP working experience
Production planning experience
**Responsibilities**
Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure schedules, quality standards, and productivity targets are met.

Lead, train, and support production employees while promoting a safe and efficient work environment.

Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.

Schedule and assign work based on production requirements and staffing levels.

Conduct employee performance evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions when required.

Investigate production issues, equipment downtime, and quality concerns, implementing corrective actions.

Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Warehousing, and Planning teams to maintain smooth operations.

Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and packaging supplies to prevent production disruptions.

Maintain accurate production records, reports, and KPI tracking documentation.

Verify that machinery and equipment are operating safely and efficiently, escalating maintenance needs as necessary.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, waste reduction, quality, and cost savings.

Using the ERP software X3
Familiar with Food and Bev production
Bachelors degree
**Additional Information**
Salary: $75,000+ Location: 404 and Steeles in Markham
Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm and 2:30pm-11:00pm both available

This is a Contract position based out of Markham, ON.
**Pay and Benefits**




The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
